Medical Marijuana Awareness Day St. Petersburg
Medical Marijuana Awareness Days are a series of conferences held throughout Florida with a goal to educate the public on the benefits of of medical marijuana with an accessible and balanced platform.
This event was the one that really set our standards and typical lineup, consisting of three main presentations, a patient testimonial panel and doctor introduction, and a comprehensive Q&A session at the end of each session! Interspersed are short introductions to each dispensary, to give patients an idea of what they can expect at each.

Sessions 1pm-4pm, 6pm-9pm
Venue Staybridge Inn
Setting up in the Staybridge Inn
The Staybridge Inn in St. Petersburg gave us a beautiful space to work with. This is an hour before session 1, with attendees already filtering in to speak with doctors and dispensaries!
Acupuncture and Herbal Therapies
Acupuncture and Herbal Therapies was a local sponsor who we were very lucky to have join us at MMAD in St. Petersburg. The physician pictured, Robert Linde AP RH, shares a building with another of our sponsors, MMTClinics of Florida, to form a partnership grounded in patient support and the pursuit of wellness.
Cameron Vance PharmD on Drug Toxicity
At this point in his pivotal “Applications of Medical Marijuana” presentation, Vance shows a chart depicting safe-dose to toxic-dose ratios in common drugs, including Advil, Adderall, and alcohol.
Linda Bruce of MMT
Linda Bruce of MarijuanaMedToday took to the podium a few times, including for the introduction of the cannabis research resource website which she and her husband represent.
Dr. Dorn making rounds
As the conference came to a close and attendees took to a more informal discussion with presenters, Dr. Dorn made rounds through the audience to sit with patients and follow up on subjects from the Q&A more thoroughly.
