What is Parkinson’s Disease?

Parkinson’s Disease is a neurodegenerative disease caused by the loss of neurons that produce dopamine which in turn affects your motor system. Parkinson’s Disease displays symptoms such as muscle rigidity, tremors, and over time, decline in speech, gait, and motor skills.
